Thinking about the Problem is the Problem

Some people who want to heal from chronic conditions or ailments will do everything they can think of in order to heal – but they still don’t get well.

That’s often because their thinking contributes to the problem! They think about what caused the problem, they think about the mountains of medical information available, they think about decisions around conflicting treatments.

But thinking itself may actually create a disconnect, through entanglement and over-attachment. Until the disconnect gets repaired, thinking will continue to make the problem worse.

Mental focus itself is not a problem – unless it causes an energetic disconnect. For instance, a person might think about earthquakes, floods or disasters without any problem or fear, but when they think about the opposite sex, their whole energy field crashes.

Another example is watching scary movies, hearing the news, or reading about diseases – some people are non-reactive and remain strong and connected, while others experience a disconnect…
